What is the Muslim Holy Book called?

The Muslim Holy Book is called the Qur’an. This book, sometimes called the Koran, was revealed to Muhammad by God over the course of 23 years, according to Muslim belief.

Parts of the Qur’an date back to the seventh century, but the oldest full copy of the text dates back to the ninth century. Muslims believe that it was written after the death of the Prophet by the Caliph Uthman, and there are 114 chapters to the book. The Qur’an has been translated to more than 40 languages and each is divided into 30 parts, making it easy for Muslims to read and practice its teachings.
