Nujum 9 “Stars” نُجُوْم Nujoom And it is He who placed for you the stars that you may be guided by them through the darknesses of the land and sea. We have detailed the signs for a people who know. (Quran 6:97) Boys and girls

Aan 9 “This moment”, “right now”, “mature”, “ripe” آن Aan Said [the king to the women], “What was your condition when you sought to seduce Joseph?” They said, “Perfect is Allah! Aminin 8 “Safe ones”, “unharmed ones” آَمِنِيْن Aamineen And [he was told], “Throw down your staff.” But when he saw it writhing as if it was a snake, he turned in flight and did not return. [Allah said], “O Moses, approach and fear not. Indeed, you are among the secure ones. (Quran 28:31) Boys
Jadid 8 “New” جَدِيْد Jadeed If He wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation. (Quran 35:16) Boys and girls
Khilal 8 “Friendship” خِلاَل Khilaal [O Muhammad], tell My servants who have believed to establish prayer and spend from what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, before a Day comes in which there will be no exchange, nor any friendships. (Quran 14:31) Boys and girls
Lailah, Laila 8 “Night” لَيْلَة Laylah Indeed, We sent it down during a blessed night. Indeed, We were to warn [mankind]. (Quran 44:3) Girls
Mawada 8 “Affection”, “goodwill” مَوَدَّة Mawaddah And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought. (Quran 30:21) Girls
Mubarak 8 “Blessed” مُبَارَك Mubaarak [This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded. (Quran 38:29) Boys
Muhtadun 8 “Guided ones” مُهْتَدُوْن Muhtadoon Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided. (Quran 2:157) Boys
Mukhlasin 8 “Chosen ones” مُخْلَصِيْن Mukhlaseen And she certainly determined [to seduce] him, and he would have inclined to her had he not seen the proof of his Lord. And thus [it was] that We should avert from him evil and immorality. Indeed, he was of Our chosen servants. (Quran 12:24) Boys
Muqim 8 “Resident”, “permanent”, “establisher” مُقِيْم Muqeem My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication. (Quran 14:40) Boys
Nasirin 8 “Supporters” نَاصِرِيْن Naasireen But Allah is your protector, and He is the best of helpers. (Quran 3:150) Boys
Wadi 8 “Valley” وَادِي Waadi Nor do they spend an expenditure, small or large, or cross a valley but that it is registered for them that Allah may reward them for the best of what they were doing. (Quran 9:121) Boys
Wasiyyah 8 “Commandment”, “will”, “advice”, “bequest” وَصِيَّة Wasiyyah Prescribed for you when death approaches [any] one of you if he leaves wealth [is that he should make] a bequest for the parents and near relatives according to what is acceptable – a duty upon the righteous. (Quran 2:180) Girls
Zahab, Dahab 8 “Gold” ذَهَب Dhahab Those will have gardens of perpetual residence; beneath them rivers will flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and will wear green garments of fine silk and brocade, reclining therein on adorned couches. Excellent is the reward, and good is the resting place. (Quran 18:31) Girls
Qaim 8 “Standing”, “upright”, “one who stays up late at night to pray” قَائِم Qaa’im That is from the news of the cities, which We relate to you; of them, some are [still] standing and some are [as] a harvest [mowed down]. (Quran 11:100) Boys

Hud, Houd 7 Name of a prophet هُوْد Hood When their brother Hud said to them, “Will you not fear Allah? (Quran 26:124) Boys
Maghrib 7 “West”, “sunset” مَغْرِب Maghrib Until when he reached the place where the sun set, he found it going down into a black sea, and found by it a people. We said: O Zulqarnain! either give them a chastisement or do them a benefit. (Quran 18:86) Boys and girls
Bukra 7 “Early”, “early part of the day”, “dawn”, “morning” بُكْرَة Bukrah Then Zakariyya [Zachariah] came forth from the shrine to his people and told them by signs to glorify the Lord morning and evening. (Quran 19:11) Girls
Bunyan 7 “Structure”, “formation” بُنْيَان Bunyaan Then is one who laid the foundation of his building on righteousness [with fear] from Allah and [seeking] His approval better or one who laid the foundation of his building on the edge of a bank about to collapse, so it collapsed with him into the fire of Hell? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. (Quran 9:109) Boys
Burhan 7 “Proof” بُرْهَان Burhaan O mankind, there has come to you a conclusive proof from your Lord, and We have sent down to you a clear light. (Quran 4:174) Boys
Haz 7 “Fortune”, “luck” حَظّ Hadhdh But none is granted it except those who are patient, and none is granted it except one having a great portion [of good]. (Quran 41:35) Boys and girls
Jamil 7 “Beautiful” جَمِيْل Jameel So endure patiently, with a beautiful patience. (Quran 70:5) Boys
Latif 7 “Gentle”, “subtly kind” لَطِيْف Lateef Allah is gentle with His servants; He gives provisions to whom He wills. And He is the Powerful, the Exalted in Might. (Quran 42:19) Boys
Mawazin 7 “Balances”, “scales” مَوَازِيْن Mawaazeen And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be treated unjustly at all. And if there is [even] the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as accountant. (Quran 21:47) Boys and girls
Mihad 7 “flat land”, “plain” مِهَاد Mihaad Have We not made the earth a resting place? (Quran 78:6) Boys and girls
Mukhlisin 7 “Sincere ones”, “devoted ones” مُخْلِصِيْن Mukhliseen And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion. (Quran 98:5) Boys
Qadir 7 “Able”, “powerful” قَادِر Qaadir Do they not see that Allah, who created the heavens and earth, is [the one] Able to create the likes of them? And He has appointed for them a term, about which there is no doubt. But the wrongdoers refuse [anything] except disbelief. (Quran 17:99) Boys
Qibla 7 Refers to the direction of the Kaaba, which Muslims face during prayer قِبْلَى Qiblah We have certainly seen the turning of your face, [O Muhammad], toward the heaven, and We will surely turn you to a qiblah with which you will be pleased… (Quran 2:144) Girls
Qiyam 7 “To stand upright”, “to stay up late at night to pray” قِيَام Qiyaam Those who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], “Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire. Ruya, Roya 7 “Dream”, “vision” رُؤْيَا Ru’yaa He said, “O my son, do not relate your dream to your brothers or they will contrive against you a plan. Indeed Satan, to man, is a manifest enemy.” (Quran 12:5) Girls
Shahid 7 “Witness” شَاهِد Shaahid [Yusuf] said, “It was she who sought to seduce me.” And a witness from her family testified. “If his shirt is torn from the front, then she has told the truth, and he is of the liars.” (Quran 12:26) Boys
